Overview

Since 1972, Covenant House has served and advocated for youth and young families experiencing homelessness, human trafficking, and exploitation. Our overarching goal is to end homelessness among youth and young families by helping them achieve housing stability, heal from trauma, tap into their innate resilience, and hone their interests and skills to forge new pathways to independence. This work is carried out across Covenant House sites in 34 cities in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.

About the Role

The Director, Data Integrations (Internal title: Director, Development Operations) reports to the AVP, Development Operations and serves as the technical lead within the Development Operations team for connecting disparate data sources to Covenant House’s CRM of record (Bonterra’s EveryAction). In this role, you will have the opportunity to identify new data sources and build conduits from them into the CRM, as well as to monitor, assess, and improve existing API connections. You will also have the opportunity to support Covenant House Sites that join Covenant House International’s shared data ecosystem, by providing support with data mapping and data loads during system conversions, and building integrations to support local efforts. As the fundraising landscape is changing rapidly, you will be a critical member of the team charged with reacting and responding to those needs. Your impactful work will directly support and uphold CHI’s mission to end youth homelessness as we know it today.

Covenant House International adopted the EveryAction CRM in 2020, with 7 of the 12 sites based in the United States also adopting the system as their own. The CRM is built with a flexible, malleable ring-fencing solution that allows each site to maintain custom data within a shared environment, while adhering to shared business rules. Robust integrations exist with our enterprise-wide peer-to-peer fundraising platform (Bonterra’s DonorDrive), our enterprise-wide accounting system (Oracle’s NetSuite), and with tools used by our caging partners. Opportunities exist with dozens of platforms used by CHI and sites; we seek to seize each one and optimize it to support our increasingly complex data universe. In this role, you will enable Covenant House to spark growth by reducing barriers to critical data capture and making it accessible to those who will use it to serve more young people experiencing homelessness.
