WhatĀ You’llĀ DoĀ Ā 

Campaign Management & Execution – 5%Ā 

  • Supervise RFP creation and review of social partners, proposal analyses, and partnerĀ negotiationsĀ Ā 

  • Oversee junior team campaign buying from set-up to keywordĀ selectionĀ through to targeting buckets, optimization, and pacing/reporting; implement QAĀ processesĀ 

  • GuideĀ junior team membersĀ in campaign set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of eachĀ campaignĀ 

  • Ensure team follows QA processĀ and dailyĀ pacingĀ 

Social Media Strategy – 35%Ā 

  • Lead strategic social plan development in tandem with the Digital & Business Solutions teamsĀ 

  • Integrate social insights into overall planning process, incorporating data, research, and analytics into recommendationsĀ in order toĀ deeply understand the role marketplace media plays in larger mediaĀ objectivesĀ 

  • Partner closely with other Horizon Next teams (Business Solutions, Investment, etc.), building cross team relationships and incorporating relevantĀ extensionsĀ 

  • Drive team brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration setĀ developmentĀ 

  • Oversee creation and development of media specific documents such as media plans,Ā objectivesĀ and strategies decks, and other relatedĀ functionsĀ 

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, develop POVs related to overall social marketplaceĀ buyingĀ 

  • Work with AMD and Supervisor to oversee junior team members and manage expectations with higher ups in the creation of media specific documents such as media plans,Ā objectivesĀ and strategies decks, and other relatedĀ functions  

  • Provide final sign off on RFP creation and review of partners/site responses, act as point of escalation for partner negotiations and stewardship of keyĀ partnershipsĀ 

Reporting & Analysis – 5%Ā 

  • Lead in development of processes with Horizon Next Analytics & Business Intelligence teams to aggregate data and ensure standardization across NextĀ accountsĀ Ā 

  • OverseeĀ the development of learning agendas including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of eachĀ campaignĀ 

  • Act as escalation point for junior team members as they work through optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities acrossĀ social  

  • Help AMD coach junior team members on impactful insight writing that is routed in data and action but pulls in largerĀ socialĀ strategy and provide final signĀ offĀ 

Relationship Management – 20%Ā 

  • Have foresight and understanding of projects toĀ maintain and adjust timing of deliverables for team at large, communicating changes to managers andĀ leadership  

  • Apply knowledge of current/previousĀ clients’ specific business and industry to enhance and furtherĀ relationships  

  • Maintain a strong presence across Horizon Next departments (i.e.Ā Business Solutions, Operations, Analytics, Biddable Teams), building trust and accountability   

  • Act asĀ escalation pointĀ for junior team members when faced with challenges navigating conversations with internal and external partners andĀ clientsĀ 

  • PrimaryĀ socialĀ lead working closely with clients to ensure prioritization of projects, understanding of goals and media that aligns withĀ objectivesĀ to drive clientĀ businessĀ 

Team Management,Ā SupervisionĀ and Delegation – 30%Ā 

  • AssistĀ in creating growth plans for junior team members and providing clear career goals for theĀ AMDĀ 

  • Act as a resource forĀ performance reviews, coaching to maximize success,Ā identifyingĀ training needs for improved performance, setting goals for careerĀ developmentĀ and ensuring actions areĀ taken  

  • Provide education and training on best practices, media principals, and social industry at large   

  • Participate in interview process for junior team members roles  

  • Guide team in setting goals and project tasks and timelines, ensuring team members have challenging, level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills, contributing to overall teamĀ successĀ 

  • Responsible for leaning into Horizon Next initiatives while encouraging junior team members toĀ participateĀ and engage within the larger Next Social communityĀ 

Agency Stewardship – 5%Ā 

  • Responsible for upholding a sense of community and knowledge sharing within the Horizon NextĀ socialĀ businessĀ 

  • Dispel high-level POVs on industry trends and updates across both clients and teamĀ membersĀ 

  • Ensure the account is upholding the Horizon brand ethos that business is personal, creating a deep sense of teamĀ cultureĀ Ā 

  • Responsible for financial tracking of partner investments, as part of the larger Horizon umbrellaĀ

Preferred Skills & ExperienceĀ 

  • 6-7+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewardingĀ socialĀ media account projects, acting as a clientĀ contactĀ 

  • Deep understanding of advanced analytics and performance media  

  • Strong familiarity with marketing principles,Ā analyticsĀ and concepts  

  • Exceptionally skilled in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to discuss how those functions can or should be appliedĀ relativeĀ to theĀ socialĀ media planningĀ process  

  • Expert in negotiating and constructingĀ socialĀ media plans, with understanding of planning,Ā buyingĀ andĀ activationĀ 

  • Experience buying ads on Facebook and Instagram is crucial,Ā additionalĀ platformsĀ preferredĀ Ā 

  • Exposure to advanced targeting/retargeting tactics in social, used bothĀ 1stĀ and 3rdĀ partyĀ dataĀ 

  • Experience owning the full social strategy process inclusive of working with partners,Ā clientsĀ and internalĀ stakeholdersĀ 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and ā€œsell throughā€ ideas both internally and to Clients,Ā while coaching team members on these skillsĀ 

  • Comfort owning and managing budget/investment levels in social mediaĀ across multipleĀ accountsĀ 

  • Strong experience navigating cross-departmentĀ relationshipsĀ 

  • Leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals, including strategic and management skillsĀ Ā

Salary Range

$145,000.00 - $165,000.00
