Position Summary

We are currently seeking a talented, hardworking, committed, and intellectually curious Director to support Trinity’s Evidence, Value, Access, and Pricing (EVAP) function. EVAP Directors fulfill a leadership role on multiple project teams, designing and implementing strategies to help our clients maintain strong growth, and making an impact both internally and externally through their subject matter expertise. EVAP Directors have opportunities to manage daily client interactions with full oversight over project teams – client management, project management, employee management, budget, and financial management, and more.

In addition, Directors contribute to new business development by working with other Leadership Team members to build and maintain client relationships at assigned accounts, while providing internal thought leadership and expertise. Directors provide mentorship to junior employees across multiple teams. With exposure to the variety of strategic business issues covered by the EVAP team, this position offers qualified candidates the opportunity to take on challenging and rewarding roles.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the main client point of contact for EVAP project engagements and internal team lead.

  • Ensure project outputs include strategically sound and actionable recommendations and answers to value, access, and pricing client business questions, both high level and nuanced based on project type.

  • Support team members as a workstream lead, both coordinating and guiding the work of more junior staff members and effectively communicating as a partner to project managers.

  • Ensure the delivery of client-ready materials, including research materials, interim deliverables, and final project reports.

  • Develop and/or evaluate new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new opportunities to foster the extension of EVAP’s global footprint within value, access, and pricing.

  • Field RFPs and develop proposals, primarily on global pricing, market access, and value strategy opportunities.

  • Bring in potential new client opportunities through previous work experiences, connections, and network.

  • Leverage subject matter expertise to grow EVAP’s capabilities from both an internal and external perspective, while facilitating learning and development opportunities across the staff.

  • Provide thought leadership in value, market access, and pricing in both client- and non-client-related activities (e.g., external conferences).

  • Train and mentor junior staff on project case teams, in internal training efforts, and through formal/informal mentorship.

  • Support the internal growth of the EVAP function through involvement in initiatives focused on consultants’ professional development, training, and resources.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement; major in health sciences, economics, HEOR, or a demonstrated interest in life sciences is a plus.

  • 10+ years as a top performer within a top-tier biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical strategy/consulting firm serving industry-leading clients.

Additional Skills

  • Working knowledge of advanced consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Excellent analytical skills and numeric capability.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • High attention to detail with superior organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work with cross-functional staff.

  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Ability to balance Trinity’s recommendations with the needs and expectations of the company/client.

  • Comfort in addressing potentially sensitive recommendations with senior executives.
