Company Description

Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, "They'll be in touch soon." So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.

Role Description

We’re hiring an Executive Assistant to the CEO to keep the CEO focused on Tennr’s highest priorities and ensure their days run smoothly. You’ll lead complex calendar coordination, handle mission-critical logistics, and partner closely with CEO’s Chief of Staff to create clarity, flow, and follow-through across internal and external engagements. This is an in-person (4 days a week) role with regular collaboration across the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end calendar management for the CEO, prioritizing time and stakeholder needs by proactively resolving conflicts and protecting time, travel, and deep-work windows.

  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure the CEO’s schedule reflects strategic priorities, align his time, and ensure that the CEO is always prepped ahead of meetings.

  • Plan and manage detailed domestic travel, including itineraries and logistics for client and prospect meetings, off-sites, and external appearances.

  • Build lightweight systems and documentation that improves the executive’s workflow; use modern productivity tools and AI to increase speed, quality, and reliability.

  • Serve as a high-judgment point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and representing the CEO’s office with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience supporting a CEO, founder, or senior executive with complex, fast-changing schedules and priorities.

  • Demonstrated excellence in high-volume calendar orchestration, logistics, and meeting readiness, with a track record of anticipating needs and solving problems proactively.

  • Outstanding organization and written/verbal communication skills; you keep details tight, documentation clear, and stakeholders aligned.

  • Unshakeable discretion and judgment; calm, focused execution under pressure; and a service mindset that helps leaders operate at their best.

  • Comfort collaborating across senior leadership and cross-functional teams, and working in person with the Office of the CEO.

  • Proficiency with modern productivity and collaboration tools (G Suite, Slack, Zoom, Mac, Notion, Claude) and an interest in leveraging AI to streamline workflows.

  • An understanding of the startup world and the tech industry as a whole.

A plus if you…

  • Have experience with Board-level support and BOD governance.

  • Prior partnership with a Chief of Staff and/or Office of the CEO team.

  • Experience using generative AI and automation in an administrative setting.

  • Experience collaborating closely with a broader Executive Operations or People function.

  • Interest in the healthcare industry.

  • Are committed to a strong partnership with your CEO and comfortable working as an EA long-term.

  • Are willing to assist the executive with some light personal work (personal travel, personal errands, household management etc)
