LaRock & Perez LLP is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team in the heart of New York, NY. Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
- Manage and organize case files, discovery materials, and client records
- Coordinate court filings, deadlines, and docket management
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally
Requirements:
- Minimum 4–5 years of paralegal experience, in New York
- Plaintiff, Personal injury experience requiredÂ
- Must be bilingual in SpanishÂ
- Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
- Strong knowledge of New York court procedures, filing systems, and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
