What You’ll Do

  • Own system installs & commissioning — set up advanced microscopy platforms and train users to hit the ground running.
  • Keep systems at peak performance — deliver expert preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot like a pro — dig deep into hardware/software issues and resolve them fast, onsite or remotely.
  • Build strong customer relationships — deliver confident communication, clear training, and dependable support.
  • Upgrade & optimize systems — calibrate components and implement performance‑boosting enhancements.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Life Science, or similar.
  • 3–5 years of field service experience with microscopy or analytical instruments.
  • Skilled with multimeters, oscilloscopes, schematics, and Windows systems.
  • Physically capable of working in tight spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license, passport, and willingness to travel Monday–Friday.

 

Bonus Points For

  • Hands-on experience with AFM, SEM, fluorescence, or confocal microscopy.
  • Strong workflow understanding of imaging software and calibration.
  • Clean, methodical work habits and a love for continuous learning.

Compensation
