- Complete accurate service documentation and communicate repair results and customer concerns.
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on experience servicing electro-mechanical equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting complex wiring harnesses and sensitive electronic components.
- Ability to use a digital multimeter for electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience using service tools such as vacuum/pressure meters and frequency counters.
- Ability to follow technical procedures, service manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
Required Qualifications

- At least 1 year of relevant technical repair, maintenance, or field-service experience.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites and troubleshoot equipment in the field.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel when required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle available for work-related field travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience servicing medical devices or medical capital equipment.
- Experience with industrial or OEM electro-mechanical equipment.
- Experience servicing optical products or optical equipment.
- Basic Command Line or PowerShell experience.
- Previous customer-site field service experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who is genuinely hands-on and comfortable opening equipment and troubleshooting failures.
- A technician who can identify the cause of a problem rather than simply replacing parts without diagnosis.
- Someone comfortable working with electronics, wiring, mechanical assemblies, and diagnostic equipment.
- A dependable field professional who can manage travel, customer appointments, documentation, and service calls independently.
- A strong communicator who represents Quest International professionally at customer locations.
Physical & Field Requirements
This position requires frequent travel to customer locations and may involve lifting, carrying tools or equipment, working around medical or industrial equipment, and performing service work in customer environments.
Successful candidates must also be able to complete applicable pre-employment testing and onboarding requirements.
Compensation
$20–$29 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
