Purpose of Position: The Front Desk Worker serves as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, vendors, and staff. This position is responsible for maintaining building security, providing excellent customer service, monitoring building activity, and ensuring that all visitors and contractors follow building policies and procedures. The Front Desk Worker helps create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. Schedule: Multiple positions, Tuesday -Friday; Wednesday-Sunday, 12:00am-8:00am Hourly Range: $23.38-$27.04/hr Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account. Roles, Responsibilities and Essential DutiesRole, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties Monitor the front entrance and always control access to the building. Verify identification for all visitors and ensure they are authorized to enter. Enforce all visitors, guests, and building access policies. Monitor security cameras and building activity throughout the shift. Conduct routine walkthroughs of common areas as required. Immediately report suspicious activity or security concerns to management or emergency services. Maintain the security of keys and access control systems. Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff professionally and respectfully. Provide information and assistance to residents as appropriate. Complete accurate daily shift logs. Prepare detailed incident reports before the end of each shift. Maintain visitor logs and contractor sign-in/sign-out sheets. Record maintenance requests and notify maintenance staff or management. Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them appropriately. Receive and distribute packages, deliveries, and correspondence according to property procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all resident information. Qualifications/Educational Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in supportive housing, residential services, security, customer service. Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email. Experience preparing written incident reports preferred.
