Bandit Running is a pioneering technical performance brand committed to creating innovative, high-quality apparel & gear for goal-driven runners. Our mission to “Evolve Running” guides everything we do, always putting the needs of the global running community first. As the fastest-growing brand in the sport, we challenge conventional brand-building norms, prioritizing an extremely high-bar for disruptive excellence across product, experiences & content. Our vision is to build an enduring, iconic brand that breaks down barriers & inspires greater passion & participation in the sport we love.

We are seeking a Graphic Designer with a strong focus on typography, badges, and iconography to shape the visual language of our performance product. This role demands an eye for refined type systems, expressive graphic storytelling, and a clean, modern aesthetic that translates seamlessly across apparel and accessories. While graphic excellence is the core of the role, experience in surface/print/pattern design is a plus.

As the Graphic Designer, you’ll create original type treatments, iconography, and graphic motifs that define the seasonal identity of the brand. You’ll explore typographic systems, build badge and lockup concepts, and execute graphics that fuse fashion edge with athletic functionality. Collaborating closely with design and brand teams, you’ll help set the tone for collections through graphics that feel both elevated and culturally resonant.

Graphic Development

  • Create original typography, badges, iconography, and graphic motifs that align with seasonal direction and brand DNA.
  • Develop typographic exploration, from expressive lockups to refined, minimal marks applied across apparel and accessories.
  • Build badge/icon systems that translate across multiple categories and formats.
  • Collaborate with the team to shape seasonal graphic narratives.

Execution & Technical Craft

  • Prepare artwork files for production, ensuring accuracy in scale, separations, and formatting.
  • Provide precise color comments, proportion notes, and placement guidance.
  • Ensure graphics translate across performance fabrics and silhouettes with consistency and clarity.

Surface / Print (Nice to Have)

  • Ability to design repeat patterns or engineered prints as a complement to graphic work.
  • Understanding of how print techniques (sublimation, screen, heat transfer, digital) interact with performance fabrics.
  • Support surface design development when needed, applying the same elevated graphic sensibility.
What We’re Looking For
  • 4–6+ years of graphic design experience, ideally in performance, fashion, or lifestyle apparel.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing typographic exploration, badge/icon development, and refined graphic sensibility.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of proportion, layout, composition, and color theory.
  • Experience creating artwork that balances expressive creativity with technical precision.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in surface or pattern design (engineered or repeat prints).
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization tools (CLO, Browzwear).
  • Interest in experimental or digital typography.
  • Passion for running culture, art, and fashion as inspiration points.
  • This is a full-time, in-office role based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn headquarters
  • Competitive base salary + equity
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits and flexible PTO
  • Rocket-ship level momentum with a career-defining opportunity at-hand
