About the Role
We're a Series A, Y Combinator-backed developer infrastructure company building a platform that lets engineering teams deploy and scale applications on their own cloud accounts — combining the simplicity of a managed PaaS with the control of AWS, GCP, or Azure. Our team is small (under 50 people), highly product-focused, and moves fast.
We're looking for a Growth / Product Engineer to raise the bar on usability, UX, and visual polish across our platform. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role: you'll shape the product's direction and design language alongside a tight-knit engineering team that cares deeply about craft.
This role is open to all experience levels, including new grads, and visa sponsorship is available.
What You'll Do
Elevate the UX and visual polish of our dashboard and platform end-to-end.
Implement and own a design system; define and maintain the platform's consistent visual language.
Participate in all feature discussions and help steer product direction — sometimes acting in a PM-like capacity.
Improve the organization, information architecture, and usability of the dashboard UI.
Build and maintain UI components using React, TypeScript, styled-components, and CSS.
Collaborate with backend and infrastructure engineers working with Go, Kubernetes + Helm, Postgres, and Redis.
Work with cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP as needed.
Raise the standard for code quality and contribute to engineering culture.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
Production experience delivering frontend features with React, TypeScript, and CSS.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing a design system and establishing a consistent visual language.
Strong design sensibility — a genuine eye for UX, visual detail, and polish.
Proven ability to ship at high velocity in a fast-moving startup with rapidly shifting priorities.
Comfort operating with autonomy, wearing multiple hats, and collaborating closely across functions.
Nice-to-haves:
Exposure to full-stack or backend integration with Go, Kubernetes/Helm, Postgres, Redis, or cloud providers (AWS or GCP).
Experience with styled-components in React.
Experience contributing to or building design system tooling and component libraries.
Interest or experience acting in a product/PM-adjacent capacity.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $100,000 – $200,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
Visa sponsorship available.
Opportunity for significant ownership and impact at a well-funded, early-stage company.
Location
This is an on-site role based in New York, NY. Candidates should be prepared to work from our New York office.
