Healthcare PE Transactional Associate | New York | AmLaw 100

Our AmLaw 100 client is expanding its New York healthcare transactions team. The group is nationally ranked and active across private equity platforms, provider networks, and high-visibility deals. The platform is deep, collaborative, and built for associates who want to run with responsibility on day one.
Role Summary
• Execute and manage healthcare M&A and minority investments for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, JV documents, management and services arrangements, and related commercial contracts
• Lead regulatory workstreams in partnership with specialists, including change-of-ownership, licensing, fraud and abuse, and state corporate practice issues
• Support deal diligence, structure, and closing across multi-jurisdictional provider platforms
Candidate Profile
• 3–5 years of healthcare transactional experience at a top 100 firm, with clear exposure to private equity deals
• Strong drafting skills and comfort driving workstreams with clients, counterparties, and specialists
• New York Bar required
• Superior academics and writing samples that show judgment and precision
