Overview:

The HR Assistant Manager/Generalist plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the employee experience through the day-to-day management of HR operations, benefits administration, and employee support. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient HR processes, maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies, and serving as a trusted resource for employees across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships and delivering exceptional employee service.

Responsibilities:

路 Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing timely guidance and support on HR policies, benefits, and programs.

路 Support HR operations by processing employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, promotions, transfers, status changes, and terminations.

路 Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity and timely processing of employee information.

路 Regularly maintain and update organizational charts and other HR documentation.

路 Administer employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, leave programs, enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.

路 Partner with benefits vendors and brokers to administer benefit plans, resolve employee inquiries, and support ongoing benefits communications.

路 Coordinate with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate employee data, benefits deductions, and timely resolution of payroll discrepancies.

路 Communicate HR policies, procedures, and program updates to employees and managers, providing guidance and ensuring consistent application.

路 Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and HR procedures.

路 Support the performance management process by coordinating performance review cycles and providing guidance to managers and employees as needed.

路 Assist with immigration-related processes by gathering required documentation and coordinating with employees and external counsel.

路 Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the employee experience.

路 Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

路 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on HR operations, benefits administration, and employee support; experience in the beauty or consumer products industry is a plus.

路 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

路 Experience supporting a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

路 Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee benefits, leave administration, payroll coordination, HRIS, and employment law.

路 Solid understanding of HR policies, practices, and compliance requirements.

路 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.

路 Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

路 Proactive problem-solver with a customer service mindset and a strong sense of urgency.

路 Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

路 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS platforms is preferred.
