Infrastructure Architect (Active Directory)- Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to downtown Austin, TX or New York City, NY

 

Location: Onsite in Austin, TX or New York City; Monday through Thursday; with Friday being a work from home day.

Schedule: Working Onsite Monday through Thursday, with Friday being a work from home day. 
Salary: Dependent on experience, salary is up to 150k base a year with a 10% bonus and full benefits 

 

About the Role:
As Infrastructure Architect (Windows & Active Directory) you will be responsible for the maintenance, upgrades, general operations, and troubleshooting of client Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure. You will serve as a technical expert on infrastructure projects related to Directory Services, AD audit tools and certificates, systems management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform AD migration
  • Cross-forest migration experience
  • OKTA & ADFS experience preferred
  • Handle multiple priorities
  • Troubleshoot issues ranging from replication to token authentication
  • MS Active Directory design, implementation, management & maintenance
  • MS Active Directory Group Policy management of servers and endpoints
  • Public cloud IaaS, PaaS (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • OS server version updates
  • Migrate objects between domains

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Expert-level system administration skills for Microsoft Windows servers, Active Directory administration, and other MS core services (Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS)
  • 7+ years of experience in Active Directory administration/engineering, NOC operations, troubleshooting, customer management, and related IT services
  • 7+ years as a Domain Administrator within a large Microsoft Active Directory environment: designing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting
  • In-depth knowledge of authentication and AD security
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards related to Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
