ABOUT THE ROLE:Ā Ā 

TheĀ Investment Banking Associate IĀ performs a wide range of complex analytical and high-level support functions. With limited supervision, apply analytical skills to provide consistent data and reporting support forĀ Corporate & Investment BankingĀ teams and deal teams.Ā Ā Produce high quality analysis and presentation materials. Provide management and oversight of AnalystĀ poolĀ to ensure the production of aĀ high qualityĀ work product.Ā

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā Ā 

  • Build and understand complex financial models.Ā 

  • Perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight.Ā 

  • Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel,Ā WordĀ and other relevant software programs.Ā 

  • Complete research andĀ maintainĀ information databases asĀ required.Ā 

  • Work well as part of a team in a high stress environmentĀ and under tight deadlinesĀ 

  • Develop good working relationships with peers and seniorĀ bankers in the Corporate & Investment BankĀ and the rest of the organization.Ā 

  • Manage priorities while working onĀ a number ofĀ high priority opportunities simultaneously.Ā 

  • Complete credit and corporate finance overview and analysis independently.Ā 

  • Serve as support to the Managing Directors and be capable of making internal andĀ externalĀ  presentationsĀ to support the efforts of the Managing Directors on the team.Ā 

  • Interact with all important constituenciesĀ in the course ofĀ executing and closing loan transactions.Ā 

  • Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, confidentiality, and information barrier requirements across all workstreams.Ā 

  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission.Ā

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, orĀ a relatedĀ field.Ā 

  • 3–5 years of experience in Investment Banking M&A.

  • MBAĀ typicalĀ but notĀ requiredĀ based on prior experience.Ā 

  • ProvenĀ track recordĀ of contributing to the origination and closing of complex financial transactions as part of a team.Ā 

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within company policy).Ā 

  • StrongĀ proficiencyĀ in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Ā 

REQUIRED SKILLS:Ā 

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; ability to build/review complex financial models and interpret results.Ā 

  • Strong credit underwriting skills and sound corporate finance judgment.Ā 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and oral) with client-ready executive presence.Ā 

  • Project management capability: prioritize competing deliverables, manage work plans, and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.Ā 

  • DevelopingĀ expertiseĀ in one or more industries; familiarity with market trends and key drivers.Ā 

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities; ability to work independently and collaboratively within deal teams.Ā 

  • Familiarity with financial databases and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).Ā

Total Base Pay Range 71,100.00 - 145,900.00 USD Annual
