We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Position: IT Support Associate (Hybrid)
IT Support Associate assists the IT team with day-to-day technical and administrative tasks.
Location: New York, NY 10020
Minimum Qualifications:
- 60 college credits in Business Administration, MIS, or equivalent discipline or satisfactory combination of education and experience.
- Must haveexceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player. Detail oriented and strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Take initiative, and response to time-sensitive situations are essential, along with discretion and good sense in dealing with clients.
IT Support Specialist Principal Responsibilities:
- Assist with the building, installation, and deployment of computer hardware.
- Assist with the buildout, programming, and deployment of cellular phones to VOA-GNY employees as required.
- Assist with the upgrade to the 50th street admin office with newest version of OKTA retiring SMS verification and moving to OKTA verify for MFA.
- Supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple MAC environments, including the windows stack, Active Directory, and hosted e-mail systems. Imaging and Deploying Desktops and Laptops for end users.
- Assist security team with the monitoring of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Shares, Antivirus and backup servers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
