The KML Coordinator supports the Knowledge Management & Learning team in maintaining the firm’s knowledge platforms, coordinating learning programs, administering training content and systems, preparing usage and completion reports, and supporting day-to-day KML operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, proactive follow-through, and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, business professionals and members of the wider firm.Â
Primary ResponsibilitiesÂ
Maintain and support the firm's core Knowledge, Intranet and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
Coordinate and administer firmwide learning programs, including scheduling, presenter support, training logistics, recordings, post-training uploads and reporting.Â
Support knowledge capture, content organization, internal research, content review cycles, and the development of resources that help employees locate and use firm knowledge effectively.Â
Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the KML team, including team communications, calendars, reporting, meeting coordination and process documentation.Â
Knowledge platforms and content managementÂ
Maintain and update content on the firm’s Knowledge and Intranet Platforms, including uploading, tagging, organizing links and supporting content owners with page and document updates.Â
Assist with the creation and maintenance of mini hubs, document libraries and other tools that make knowledge resources easier to find and use.Â
Track and support periodic content reviews to help ensure Knowledge resources remain accurate and up to date.Â
Assist colleagues with locating relevant knowledge resources and support internal research requests as needed.Â
Redact or sanitize sensitive information from internal documents and case work products when required.Â
Learning programs and training operationsÂ
Maintain the firmwide training calendar and help coordinate firmwide learning programs from planning through delivery.Â
Schedule planning calls, check-ins and dry runs; coordinate with presenters, attorneys, business professionals and administrative teams to keep training projects on track.Â
Support CLE and CPD coordination by gathering all required information, tracking materials and working with relevant internal contacts.Â
Run live training sessions by supporting presenters, managing logistics, monitoring chat, recording sessions, and coordinating Zoom or Teams functionality as needed.Â
Edit, process and upload training recordings and materials to the LMS and related knowledge platforms.Â
Assist with onboarding, certification programs, newly promoted attorney meetings, learning plans and recurring training series.Â
Learning Management System (LMS) administration and reportingÂ
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for LMS questions, access issues and course administration.Â
Create, update and circulate course links, learning plans and training communications as needed.Â
Track enrollment, completion, viewership and other training activities, and running reports for KML, Attorney Development and other stakeholders.Â
Support for permissions management, security groups and restricted-access training content where required.Â
Communications, reporting and team operationsÂ
Prepare and distribute KML updates that highlight new knowledge objects, training resources and other relevant learning content.Â
Support Intranet announcements, Knowledge content updates, Meeting coordination, client alert tracking and other cross-functional communications.Â
Maintain KML reporting trackers, including training participation, attorney involvement in KM and learning initiatives, page-view reporting and related metrics.Â
Document KML team processes and procedures and maintain guidance resources for new joiners and ongoing team use.Â
Schedule recurring KML meetings, spotlights, refresher sessions and other team or stakeholder meetings as required.Â
RequirementsÂ
2+ years of administrative, knowledge management, learning and development, or related experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred.Â
Experience using Microsoft 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.Â
Experience with knowledge platforms, learning management systems, SharePoint sites, intranets or similar content-management tools preferred.Â
Comfortable working with data, trackers and reports, including training completion, viewership and content-usage reporting.Â
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and consistent follow-through, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.Â
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to building trusted relationships and collaborating effectively with attorneys, business professionals and stakeholders at different levels.Â
Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in compliance with our Firm’s policies when handling sensitive internal documents, training records and firm information.Â
Highly proactive, collaborative and ability to work independently while maintaining clear, transparent and timely communication with stakeholders.Â
Interest in knowledge management, learning, legal operations, firmwide training and technology-enabled process improvement.Â

At the time of posting, the salary range for this role is US $65,700 – US $98,500. This range is based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus. The successful candidate’s actual salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, training, skills, and market data.
