KO607 - Full-Time Housekeeper - Upper East Side

Overview

A very kind but busy family who just moved back to New York City is in search of a fantastic, full-time, child-friendly housekeeper/cook. The role is located on the Upper East Side during the school year and in the Hampton's during the summer. The start time is 7am, Monday through Friday, and the family is open to an end time between 4/5pm depending on how many hours per week the candidate is looking to work. Responsibilities

• The role would focus on daily cleaning
• All laundry for the family
• Organizing the house
• Preparing family dinners
• Helping mom get breakfast ready and kids out the door
• Minimal childcare such as transporting a child to and from school or an after-school activity 
• Spending summers in the Hampton's 
• Care of high-end surfaces (wood, marble, stainless steel, glass, etc.)
• Inventory and restocking of cleaning supplies and household items
• Trash and recycling management, ensuring proper disposal procedures
• Organization of household areas, pantries, closets, and storage
• Maintain inventories and household stock items

• Able to go to the Hampton's over the summer
• MUST be able to start at 7am Monday-Friday 

Requirements

• One child has a terrible allergy to cats, so the candidate can not live with a cat
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a private residence
• Deep knowledge of luxury garments and fabric care
• Professionalism, discretion, and trustworthiness
• Comfort working around child
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be willing to cook
• Must be OK to go to the Hampton's 
• The ability to swim is a major plus

Salary and Benefits

The family is offering $50 per hour DOE and PTO
