Overview
A very busy working executive couple with a newborn, living in the NOMAD area of NYC, is seeking a full-time, live-out family assistant to join their family. The role would involve working closely with both parents. The schedule would be Monday through Friday from 9:30 am -5:30 pm. Optional periodic overtime opportunities on nights and weekends. The position is ready to hire upon finding the right candidate.Responsibilities
- Coordinate the household calendar
- Acquisition and disposition of supplies
- Making appointments and reservations
- Booking travel
- Researching family matters, including health and child development
- Grocery shopping
- Preparing healthy food
- Interfacing with household cleaners
- Occasionally planning a family event (like brunch, neighborhood gatherings,
- Handling other needed correspondence
- Errands, as requested
- Two weeks' travel per year, if required, with reasonable advance notice, for 1.5 times pay during working hours on the trip.
Qualifications
- Well educated
- Poised and happy disposition
- Coming from a family (or a history of working with a family) that set a high bar for character in addition to academic, arts, and athletic attainment
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Clean and valid driver's license
- Fully vaccinated
- Already live locally or within a commutable distance to NYC
- Travel may be required for this role up to two weeks per year, with additional pay
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering a competitive salary of $120K+ depending on experience.
