A loving family in Tribeca is seeking a full-time laundress to join their team. The schedule would be a typical Monday-through-Friday, 9am-5pm. Focus will be on doing laundry for the home. There are two principals and three children. The family is seeking a local candidate and does not plan to relocate anyone at this time. This is an immediate hire for someone seeking longevity.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily laundry for the home- two principals and three children
- Manage laundry, washing, ironing, handwashing delicates, and coordinating dry cleaning
- Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, art, silver, china, and crystal using appropriate methods
- Organize closets, cabinets, and storage areas
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- 5+ years of prior experience as a private high-end housekeeper
- Live locally or within a commutable distance to NYC
- Fluent in English
- Tech savvy
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Proactive
- Comfortable working with young children in the home
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering $45-55/hr. Benefits to include:
