About the Role
This is a high-ownership IT leadership role at a fast-growing AI fintech company in New York. You'll be the end-to-end owner of all IT infrastructure — from identity and access management to device security and SaaS operations — playing a critical role in scaling the company safely and efficiently through its next phase of growth.
What You'll Do
Own identity, access controls, and employee lifecycle systems across the organisation, including Google Workspace, Okta, and the full SaaS application stack.
Manage a Mac-first endpoint environment end-to-end, including MDM, security baselines, patching, and device compliance.
Design and build automated onboarding and offboarding workflows that provision new employees in minutes.
Own corporate security fundamentals including endpoint security, access controls, and SOC 2/ISO 27001 audit readiness.
Manage and rationalise the company's SaaS stack across provisioning, licensing, and vendor lifecycle management.
Leverage AI tools and custom automations to eliminate repetitive IT tasks and scale operations without adding headcount.
Run day-to-day IT operations across identity, devices, networking, and office infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving issues directly.
What We're Looking For
5–15 years of experience in IT administration, with end-to-end ownership at a high-growth startup (ideally 50–300 employees).
Hands-on experience implementing an Identity Provider (Okta or equivalent) with SSO and SCIM provisioning.
Proven experience deploying and managing MDM solutions such as Jamf or Kandji in a Mac-first environment.
Experience supporting an in-person engineering team through rapid headcount scaling (50+ new hires).
Solid background in endpoint security, ZTNA, and compliance frameworks including SOC 2 and/or ISO 27001.
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, including license negotiation and SaaS stack optimisation.
Clear, confident communicator able to translate IT and security concepts for non-technical audiences.
Experience at a Series A–D startup within the last three years.
Bonus: Technical degree (CS, physics, math, or engineering) and active use of AI tools to automate IT workflows.
