Lead IT Administrator

About the Role

We're looking for a Lead IT Administrator to own our entire IT function at a fast-growing AI fintech company of ~150 people. This is a hands-on, end-to-end ownership role — you'll build scalable systems, not just maintain them, and your work will directly enable the company to hire and operate at speed.

What You'll Do

• Own identity, access controls, and employee lifecycle systems across the company (Google Workspace, Okta, and the full SaaS stack).

• Take end-to-end ownership of a Mac-first endpoint environment — MDM, security baselines, patching, and device compliance.

• Design and build automated onboarding and offboarding workflows that provision new employees in minutes.

• Own corporate security fundamentals including endpoint security, access controls, and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audit readiness.

• Manage and rationalize the company's SaaS stack — provisioning, licensing, and vendor lifecycle management.

• Use AI tools and build custom automations to eliminate repetitive IT tasks and scale operations without adding headcount.

• Run day-to-day IT operations across identity, devices, networking, and office infrastructure, resolving issues directly.

What We're Looking For

• 5–15 years of IT administration experience, with end-to-end ownership at a high-growth startup (ideally 50–300 employees).

• Hands-on experience implementing an IdP (Okta or equivalent) with SSO/SCIM integration.

• Deployed and managed MDM platforms such as Jamf or Kandji in a Mac-first environment supporting an in-person engineering team.

• Built automated onboarding/offboarding provisioning workflows and supported a company through rapid headcount scaling (50+ new hires).

• Solid background in endpoint security, ZTNA, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills — comfortable negotiating SaaS licenses and coordinating cross-functional projects.

• Experience using AI tools to automate IT workflows and eliminate operational toil.

• Worked at a Series A–D startup within the last 3 years.

• Technical degree (CS, physics, math, or engineering) is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $150,000 – $225,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
