About the Opportunity:  The Chelsea Piers Field House is looking for energetic coaches to work youth sports events and birthday parties. Candidates should be passionate about working with children, have athletic ability, and possess excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.  Primary Responsibilities: Facilitate activities for kids and teens during weekend birthday parties  Lead ninja warrior-style party activities, including obstacle courses, agility drills, and warrior challenges suited to varying ability levels  Maintain a safe, engaging, and fun environment at all times, alongside lead and junior staff  Demonstrate enthusiasm and encouragement to guests and staff  Remain positive and calm during events  Additional weekday & weekend shifts for classes and youth & adult events will be available   These responsibilities are not comprehensive and can change at any time at the supervisor's discretion.  QualificationsAbout You: You are punctual, dependable, and energetic. You have experience working with children ages 2-13 and have a flexible schedule.  Ability to work at least five weekend days a month.  A minimum of one year of experience coaching/instructing/working with children between the ages of 2-13 and/or young adults.  Experience as a coach, athlete, or participant in ninja warrior training, obstacle course racing, parkour, or gymnastics.  Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.  Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.  An outgoing, energetic personality and enjoy working in a team environment.  This position is based at Chelsea Piers in New York, New York  Chelsea Piers is an Equal Opportunity Employer
