Alma Bank is currently looking to hire an experienced Loan Processor to work out of it’s Corporate office in Astoria, NY.

SUMMARY 

This position requires a highly organized individual with strong multitasking skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors throughout the loan process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• • Track Loan Applications and Pipeline Activity
  • Order Searches, Credit Reports, Appraisals, and Environmental Reports
  • Manage Good Faith Deposits, Processing Fees, and Commitment Fees
  • Process Vendor Invoices and Payments
  • Coordinate Appraisal and Environmental Report Engagements
  • Prepare and Distribute Loan-Related Reports
  • Issue Commitment Letters
  • Update Loan Information within nCino and Other Bank Systems
  • Scan, Index, and Maintain Loan Files
  • Coordinate with Underwriting, Lending Officers, and Third-Party Vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities

  EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  Banking or loan processing experience preferred. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe PDF).

• Salary commensurate with experience. (salary range $55,000 - $65,000)
