The successful candidate will partner directly with senior leadership on a wide range of mission-critical workstreams from day-to-day operational excellence to corporate development research and strategic planning.

This role is ideal for an analytically rigorous, execution-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, can move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and is motivated by having real impact on a high-growth technology company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Operations & Program Management

  • Drive cross-functional operational programs from scoping through execution, maintaining accountability to milestones, owners, and outcomes

  • Support the design and implementation of scalable business processes across GTM, Finance, Product, and People functions

  • Build and maintain operating cadences, weekly/monthly/quarterly, including meeting structures, reporting rhythms, and dashboard infrastructure

  • Prepare high-quality materials for executive and board-level audiences, including briefings, decision memos, and performance reviews

  • Identify operational gaps and recommend prioritized interventions; track execution and measure impact

  • Act as a connective tissue across functions, ensuring alignment and information flow on key initiatives

Corporate Development Support

  • Conduct research and analysis in support of M&A targets, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities

  • Develop market maps and target screening frameworks across DDN's addressable segments

  • Support post-merger integration planning and execution, including workstream coordination, synergy tracking, and stakeholder alignment

  • Prepare deal materials including executive summaries, investment theses, and diligence support packages

  • Maintain competitive intelligence on adjacent companies and market participants relevant to DDN's strategic expansion

Corporate Strategy

  • Contribute to DDN's annual and multi-year strategic planning cycles, including market sizing, scenario modeling, and priority setting

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic decisions across product, go-to-market, and geographic expansion

  • Support investor relations and fundraising efforts with research, benchmarking, and narrative development

  • Monitor industry trends, technology shifts, and competitive dynamics; distill into actionable insights for leadership

  • Assist in drafting and refining executive communications, strategy documents, and organizational announcements

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Background & Experience

  • 3–5 years of total professional experience; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, tech operations, or corporate strategy strongly preferred

  • Ideally track record of operating in high-growth technology companies, particularly in infrastructure, enterprise software, or AI/HPC markets

  • Demonstrated experience supporting or owning corporate development workstreams (M&A research, diligence, integration)

  • Experience owning complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud, or data storage markets is a meaningful plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable with financial modeling, market sizing, and data-driven storytelling

  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to craft executive-ready materials with minimal guidance

  • High degree of organizational rigor, tracks details, manages up, and follows through without prompting

  • Ability to switch fluidly between strategic framing and tactical execution

  • Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Sheets, and productivity tools; familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or BI tools a plus

  • Low-ego, high-output orientation; comfortable in ambiguity and rapid iteration
