About the Role:
As our Manager, Global Real Estate Finance your work will be highly impactful and highly valued at Industrious. The financial strategies you’ll enact will help us maximize cash flow, forecast business operations and allocate capital. These pivotal functions are what will allow us to continue to drive growth in our quickly growing network business (ergo, your talents will be very much appreciated!) You’ll be supporting teams across our entire organization with particular emphasis on Real Estate, Member Operations, Financial Leadership and our Executive Leadership team.
You will serve as a critical bridge between corporate financial strategy and real estate deal performance. This is a high-visibility, blended role designed for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in Real Estate Finance.
Initially, you will focus on establishing robust financial planning and analysis across our global footprint. As the portfolio matures, you will take on increasing responsibilities within Portfolio Management, ensuring our assets are performing to their highest potential while supporting regional expansion and business development initiatives.
This role can be based in New York City or London. Candidates based in London would report to US based manager/team and be required to partially work NY hours
Responsibilities:
Own the relationship with strategic landlord partners, serving as the lead communicator for asset performance, financial returns, and complex P&L transparency
Communicate financial performance clearly to both internal and external stakeholders, collaborating on strategies to drive results and leveraging financial acumen to drive high stakes LL negotiations.
Own the monthly reporting on network fundamentals and use the insights to recommend practical ways to improve performance across our global portfolio.
Construct analysis/unit economic models that help the business maximize cash flow.
Support the annual budgeting process by developing and maintaining complex financial models that drive decision-making forward thinking strategy.
Run ad-hoc landlord financial analyses and juggle multiple projects to support strategic priorities and executive decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams on unit and portfolio-level analysis, turning data into clear, actionable solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent degree
5-8 years of experience as a full time financial analyst in Real Estate, Financial Services
Strong Real estate investment valuation skills, including calculating IRRs and projecting future cash flows
Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, especially utilizing consolidations, indirects, and lookups
Experience creating monthly P&L analysis and variance commentary
Interest in understanding the intersection of business strategy and finance
Knowledge of real estate fundamentals
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines
Self-starter with ability to work independently, and proactively develop solutions across global teams
Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams
Excellent judgment and strong communication skills; comfort with communicating with internal and external partners
Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into a compelling narrative for diverse stakeholders.
Confidence to provide data driven insights to senior investment committee team
Compensation:
The annual base compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $130,000. In addition, you'll be eligible for an annual bonus potential of 12.5%. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
Base and bonus compensation are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package that may be available to employees.
