Job DetailsJob Location: Project Hospitality - Staten Island, NY 10302Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Bachelor's DegreeSalary Range: $66,000.00 - $68,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: DayPosition Summary The Manager of Government Contracts is responsible for coordinating the administration of government contracts and funding agreements to ensure timely submissions, compliance with funder requirements, and effective communication across the organization. This position works closely with program, finance, planning, and executive staff to support contract development, renewals, amendments, and reporting while maintaining accurate contract records and government registration systems. Essential Responsibilities Coordinate the preparation and submission of government contract renewals, amendments, and modifications. Assist program staff with developing program narratives, scopes of work, budgets, and supporting documentation for contract submissions. Monitor contract deadlines and ensure timely completion of required deliverables. Maintain communication with government agencies, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and other funding entities regarding contract requirements. Prepare and distribute contract summaries and maintain agency-wide contract files and tracking systems. Maintain the agency's master Government Contract List and related databases. Serve as the agency administrator for government contracting and vendor management systems, including: HHS Accelerator NYS Grants Gateway SAGE and e-snaps (HUD) PASSPort (NYC) NYS Vendor Responsibility NYS Vendor Management systems Other government portals as assigned Assist with program certification applications, renewals, and required documentation. Coordinate notifications to funders regarding staffing or program changes as required by contract. Support equipment disposition requests by obtaining funder approvals when applicable. Provide guidance and technical assistance to program managers regarding contract requirements and compliance. Conduct training sessions for staff on contract processes and government systems as needed. Assist in resolving contract-related issues in collaboration with program leadership and funding agencies. Attend meetings with funders and external stakeholders when requested. Maintain organized electronic and paper contract records. Perform other related duties as assigned to support agency operations. QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Associate degree with relevant government contract administration experience will be considered. Minimum of 3 years of experience in government contract administration, grants management, or nonprofit administration. Experience working with federal, state, or local government funding preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Working knowledge of government contracting processes and grant administration. Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing assignments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and online government portals. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
