Our client is a private financial services firm providing fast, flexible financing solutions to small businesses across the United States. The marketing function plays a critical role in reinforcing these values through clear positioning, consistent messaging, and thoughtful execution across all touchpoints. 

 

The client is hiring a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead marketing strategy and manage the execution of all marketing initiatives across the organization. This is a high-ownership, individual contributor role with full accountability for marketing strategy, brand execution, campaigns, website initiatives, vendor relationships, and internal communications. This role functions as the central driver of marketing efforts and serves as the primary marketing partner to leadership. 

 

You will be responsible for setting priorities, developing marketing plans, managing timelines, and ensuring initiatives move from concept to execution with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy and Initiative Management 
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support brand awareness, business development, and long-term growth 
  • Translate business objectives into clear marketing initiatives, campaigns, and deliverables 
  • Own the planning, timelines, execution, and evaluation of marketing initiatives across channels 
  • Partner closely with leadership to align marketing priorities with firm goals 
  • Brand, Messaging, and Campaigns 
  • Maintain brand voice, positioning, and messaging across all channels 
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting awareness and business development 
  • Oversee creation of marketing materials including digital content, email campaigns, sales collateral, and brand touchpoints 
  • Ensure communications meet compliance and quality standards in a regulated environment 
  • Website and Digital Marketing 
  • Own website strategy, content, and ongoing optimization 
  • Lead redesigns, updates, and performance improvements in partnership with external vendors 
  • Ensure digital presence clearly reflects products, positioning, and a client-first approach 
  • Vendor and Partner Management 
  • Source, manage, and coordinate marketing vendors and agencies 
  • Own vendor communication, timelines, deliverables, and quality control 
  • Act as the primary marketing contact for external partners 
  • Internal Communications and Culture 
  • Lead internal communications, announcements, and events 
  • Partner with leadership to support culture, alignment, and engagement 


Requirements
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with increasing responsibility 
  • Experience developing marketing strategies and managing initiatives end to end 
  • Background in financial services, fintech, lending, investment, or a related regulated industry 
  • Experience working directly with vendors, agencies, and external partners 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field

Salary range: $100,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience
