ME351 - Full-Time Nanny - Upper East Side

Overview

A warm and welcoming family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking a calm, experienced, and nurturing full-time live-out nanny to care for their two young children, ages 4 and 1. This is a long-term opportunity for a career nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging with children, values a screen-free environment, and is looking to become an important part of a family's daily routine.

The ideal candidate is thoughtful, responsible, punctual, and brings a warm, patient approach to childcare. The family is looking for someone who can confidently care for two young children simultaneously while fostering creativity, independence, and age-appropriate development.

Schedule

• Start Date: Flexible
• Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
• Live-Out Position

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for two children (ages 4 and 1)
• School drop-off and pick-up for the older child
• Escort the children to classes, activities, and playdates
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and enrichment
• Organize playdates and outings
• Prepare simple vegetarian/pescatarian meals for the children
• Feed the children and maintain their daily routines
• Foster a fun, educational, and completely screen-free environment
• Communicate regularly with the children's father regarding schedules and daily updates

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience
• Experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously
• Strong, verifiable childcare references
• Calm, patient approach to toddler behaviors and tantrums
• Comfortable working closely with a hands-on father
• Genuinely enjoys engaging with children through play, learning, and outdoor activities
• CPR Certified
• Fully vaccinated
• Punctual and dependable
• Non-smoker
• Comfortable working in a home with two cats
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be comfortable in a no-screen household
• Willing to travel occasionally with the family for short stays in the Hamptons during the summer

Salary and Benefits

• $35/hour
• Two weeks of paid vacation annually
