Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and provide guidance on the privacy and fairness implications of AI-driven monetization products, services, and technologies.
  • Work with engineers, product managers, designers, lawyers and others to help interdisciplinary teams to build creative solutions to monetization privacy and fairness challenges, especially when new and novel questions around generative AI and machine learning come into play.
  • Serve as a representative of Meta regarding monetization privacy and fairness issues in external meetings and conferences.
  • Analyze global legislative and regulatory proposals concerning privacy, data security, fairness, and other technology issues
  • anticipate the direction of travel specifically with regard to monetization.
  • Consult with external privacy experts and other policy stakeholders on how best to ensure that Meta handles data and builds products responsibly.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on policy issues related to online advertising and monetization.
  • Domestic and International Travel Required 25%.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Law or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Experience must include 3 years in the following
  • Working at a social media or technology company in a role providing privacy and cybersecurity guidance
  • Building solutions to address privacy and cybersecurity challenges in collaboration with senior business executives
  • Serving as a company representative at external meetings and conferences on privacy and cybersecurity legislative frameworks, in international regulatory, government, or multilateral policy settings, especially with respect to information sharing
  • Creating policy analysis and briefings for foreign and domestic decision-makers, translating legal requirements into product implementation strategies
  • Analyze legislative and regulatory proposals concerning artificial intelligence, competition, cybersecurity and algorithmic automated-decision-making systems, drawing on firsthand experience with Middle Eastern, EU, and APAC frameworks
  • Operating in cross-cultural policy environments


$190,000/year to $207,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits
