MRI Technologist

Description

• Performs MRI Imaging procedures on all types of patients, while assuring image quality
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Conduct imaging in accordance with established protocols and quality standards
• Performs diagnostic testing and quality control on equipment and general maintenance
• Completes other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Current BLS Certificate required (either American Red Cross or AHA)
• Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
• Current NYS license Registered Radiological Technologist in Diagnostic Radiography
• Current Certification in MRI required. (One year minimum experienced preferred) 
• Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as basic knowledge of PACS
• Current NYS DOH Intravenous Contrast Administration Certificate required
