In this capacity, the Network Engineer will:

·       ContributetoglobalWideAreaNetwork(WAN)operations,ensuringhighavailability,scalability,and performance;

·       ParticipateinthedeploymentandoptimizationofSoftware-DefinedWAN(SD-WAN)solutionstoenhance network agility and cost-efficiency;

·       Design,implement,andmaintainmultiplenetworksconnectingviaadvancedroutingprotocolssuchasBGP, OSPF, EIGRP;

·       Implementon-premises-to-public-cloudconnectivity,includinghybridnetworkarchitectures.

·       SetupandmaintaincloudnetworkingenvironmentsinMicrosoftAzureand/orAmazonAWS,includingVPCs, VPNs, and Direct Connect/ExpressRoute;

·       Ensureseamlessintegrationofcloud-basedserviceswithenterprisenetworkinfrastructure;

·       ImplementandrefineQualityofService(QoS)policies fortrafficprioritization,ensuringoptimalperformancefor critical applications (e.g., VoIP, video, business systems);

·       Monitorandtroubleshootnetworklatency,packetloss,andbandwidthutilization;

·       Collaboratewithnetworkengineeringteamsacrossmultiplegeographiclocations,fosteringtechnical knowledge sharing;

·       Supportresourceallocationandprojectexecutiontomeetorganizationalgoals;

·       Providetechnicalguidanceandmentorshiptojuniorteammembers;

·       Maintainnetworkuptime,security,andcompliancewithindustrystandards(e.g.,ISO27001,NIST);

·       Configuremonitoringtools,highavailabilitysetups,anddisasterrecoveryplansfornetworkinfrastructure;

·       Maintaindetaileddocumentationofnetworkconfigurations,policies,andprocedures;

·       PartnerwithITleadership,applicationteams,andexternalvendorstoalignnetworkcapabilitieswith organizational needs;

·       Serveasanescalationpointforcomplexnetworkissuesandoutages;

·       Contributetonetwork-relatedprojects,suchasinfrastructureupgrades,cloudmigrations,orSD-WANrollouts, ensuring technical deliverables are met on time;

·       Thisrolemayberequiredtoparticipateinanon-callrotationtosupportincidentmanagementprocessesasa memberoftheglobalNetworkengineeringteam;

·      Some(limited)non-standardhoursmayberequiredtosupportNetworkchanges aspartofthechange management process and approved windows; and

·       Some(limited)travelmayberequiredforteammeetingsorotherreasons.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’sdegreeinComputerScience,NetworkEngineering,orarelatedfield(orequivalentexperience);

·       Relevantcertificationspreferred(e.g.,CCNP,CCIE,AWSCertifiedAdvancedNetworking,AzureNetwork Engineer Associate);

·       6+yearsofexperienceinnetworkengineering;

·       Extensiveexperiencewithadvancedroutingprotocols(e.g.,BGP,OSPF,EIGRP)andWi-Finetwork design/optimization;

·       ProvenexpertiseinmanagingglobalWANenvironmentsandSD-WANdeployments;

·       Hands-onexperienceestablishingon-premises-to-cloudconnectivityandsettingupcloudnetworkinginAzure and/or AWS;

·       Demonstratedsuccessworkinginnetworkteamsacrossmultiplegeographiclocations;

·       Deepknowledgeofroutingandswitchingtechnologies(e.g.,Arista,Brocade,Cisco);

·       ExperienceinSD-WANplatforms(e.g.,CATO,PaloAlto,SilverPeak);

·       ExpertiseinQoSconfigurationandtrafficengineeringforenterprisenetworks;

·       Familiaritywithnetworksecuritytools(e.g.,firewalls,IDS/IPS)andprotocols(e.g.,IPsec,SSL);

·       Experiencewithnetworkmonitoringtools(e.g.,SolarWinds,Wireshark,Scrutinizer); and

·       BackgroundinworkingwithvendorrelationshipswithISPs,hardwareproviders,orcloudserviceproviders (preferred).

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
