Description

BASIC FUNCTION: Supervises and accounts for nightly activities of the clients within a residential treatment program.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Provides night supervision for the clients and be responsible for the clients' night time activities.
  • Serves as a positive role model.
  • Maintains a daily log on the activities.
  • Participates as a team member in at least one staff meeting per month.
  • Fills in for other night awake aides who are on leave.

SCHEDULE: Tuesday-Saturday - 11PM-7AM coverage

LOCATION: New York, NY 10002

RATE: $18.50 - $19.46 / hourly dep. on experience

Requirements

QUALIFICATION - EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma, GED and/or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and/or training and experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner.
  • CPR and Narcan Training Preferred
  • Takes charge of clients in a sensitive manner, as not to interfere or prohibit the meaningful progress of the clients
  • Experience in residential treatment settings preferred.
