The Nursing Informatics Manager is responsible for clinical information retrieval to support quality initiatives including core measures and meeting regulatory requirements for Joint Commission and Department of Health and performance improvement initiatives to improve clinical efficiency and patient safety. The Nursing Informatics Manager functions in a key role as liaison between the clinical and information technology departments.
