Reporting Structure:
The Officer Manager reports directly to the principal and has responsibility to the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities & Job Summary:
The Office Manager participates as a key member of the Capital Prep administration team in ensuring the smooth functioning of the day-to-day operational and financial aspects of the school, including, but are not limited to:
Day to day bookkeeping and corresponding paperwork processes
Attendance tracking
Meal service administration
Transportation administration
Purchasing and supplies management
Enrollment processing
Student record maintenance and reporting
Parent/Guardian interaction/correspondence/phones
Managing mail, processing paperwork, tracking processes, and supporting school functions
General support of the administration functions/miscellaneous tasks that arise in the running of the school
Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree prefered but will accept years of experience in lieu of degree and a minimum of two (2) years of school administrative experience;
Agreement with the academic goals and philosophy of the charter school;
Knowledge of systems including SchoolMint, PowerSchool, GSuite, PSIS, Sage Intacct, ADP, etc.;
Demonstrated effective collaboration and communication skills;
Demonstrated effective problem solving, planning and organizational skills;
Demonstrated attention to detail and high quality output;
Ability to structure own time and manage multiple priorities;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Exhibited leadership in working with professional staff, students, and the community;

Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Capital Preparatory Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package.
This is a full-time, full-year non-exempt position. Â This position is vacation eligible.
Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
