As a recognized leader in developing and operating supportive housing and community-based programs, The Bridge has 70 years of experience helping New Yorkers with mental illness, including those affected by homelessness, incarceration, and institutionalization.    Scope of Position: The Bronx Scattered Site Office Manager plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of field-based residential services. The position coordinates and supports program staff, provides guidance during apartment emergencies and turnovers, trains staff on systems used for scheduling and tracking client and apartment visits, and assists with the hiring and onboarding process. The Office Manager also serves as a professional liaison with landlords, building superintendents, and maintenance personnel while overseeing office and client supplies, inventory, purchasing, petty cash reconciliation, and finance requests.    Essential Position Functions: Train case management staff on utilizing various software applications used to schedule and track client/apartment visits, request apartment repairs, etc. Responsible for providing directives to staff in the field attending to apartment emergencies and turnovers. Manage scheduling and follow-up for prospective staff during the hiring process in conjunction with HR. Liaise between program staff and landlords, building superintendents, and maintenance staff via email and via phone in a professional manner. Manage the purchasing and inventory of office supplies as well as client furniture/supplies. Reconcile Petty Cash and submit check requests to the Finance Department. Qualifications High School/GED degree with related experience. Experience in mental health, crisis intervention, and managing trauma-triggered behavior. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to handle stress, be flexible, and work well as a team player. Open to feedback and creative problem-solving. Willingness to perform CPR, First Aid, AED, CPI, and Naloxone. Experience with AWARDS preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
