The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel is seeking to recruit a Bellman/Doorperson to join the Front Services team. The Bellman/Doorperson plays a vital role in creating exceptional first and last impressions for our guests by providing a warm welcome, assisting with luggage handling, escorting guests throughout the hotel, and ensuring seamless arrivals and departures. This position is responsible for delivering personalized and attentive service that exceeds guest expectations while upholding the luxury standards of The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel. The Bellman/Doorperson will contribute to achieving departmental goals, enhancing the overall guest experience, and maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence and hospitality.

Requirements

• Supports the hotel operation in times of demand.
• Maintains effective communication within the department and ensure that the Front Office Managers are kept well informed of any problems/queries that have arisen.
• Liaises with other departments to ensure good communication and offer support.
• Check in and checkout within the Hotel specific requirements
• Takes a proactive approach to the door activities, anticipating potential opportunities i.e. jogging suggestions/directions. 
• Greets and maintains an excellent working relationship with guests/clients and colleagues. 
• Ensure the management of guest luggage (arrival/departure and storage) is recorded with the appropriate labelling and care.
• Ensure appropriate reception of guests on arrival by limousine/taxi at hotel entrance is carried out. 
• Maintains a good working relationship with local taxi drivers. 
• Ensure a high level of local knowledge with regards to nearby streets, attractions, shops, amenities etc.
