Critical Mass is hiring a Performance Media Director, Planning to join our growing team. As the Performance Media Director, you will lead the development and execution of integrated, performance-driven media strategies across key client accounts. You bridge senior strategic direction and hands-on planning leadership, ensuring media investments are optimized for efficiency, scalability, and measurable business outcomes.ÂÂ
You will:Â
Develop cross-channel media plans aligned to client business objectives and performance KPIsÂ
Define audience targeting strategies using first-party data, syndicated insights, and platform intelligenceÂ
Build investment recommendations across Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, CTV, and Commerce channelsÂ
Support forecasting, budget pacing, and optimization planning across campaignsÂ
Oversee campaign performance and ensure continuous optimization against CAC, ROAS, CPA, and conversion goalsÂ
Partner with Analytics teams to interpret data and identify actionable insightsÂ
Support testing strategies across audiences, creative, bidding, and channel mixÂ
Translate performance data into strategic adjustments and client recommendationsÂ
Serve as a senior day-to-day client lead for media planning and performance discussionsÂ
Present media strategies, performance updates, and optimization recommendationsÂ
Collaborate with Activation, Analytics, and Strategy teams to ensure integrated executionÂ
Support new business efforts and strategic planning initiativesÂ

You have:Â
7–10 years of media planning or performance marketing experienceÂ
Strong understanding of digital ecosystems and cross-channel media strategyÂ
Experience managing performance-driven campaigns across multiple platformsÂ
Familiarity with attribution, forecasting, and media measurement frameworksÂ
Proven client-facing experience with senior stakeholdersÂ


$150,000-$170,000
