*Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.


 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Medication Orders - Enters prescriptions into pharmacy software for pharmacist review. Pulls and labels hazardous and nonhazardous medications for pharmacist verification. Demonstrates ability to complete basic pharmacy math calculations for specialty medications.

  • Cold Chain Distribution – Prepares packages for delivery following specific cold chain distribution procedures.

  • Phone Triage - Performs outpatient phone triage.

  • Refills – Contacts patients to schedule refills and conduct disease assessments.

  • Insurance - Performs insurance adjudication and troubleshooting.

  • Inventory - Receives and enters inventory into pharmacy software.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ year of work experience in a related job discipline

  • Must be PTCB certified and OH Board of Pharmacy certified

PREFERRED

  • One year of work experience in a specialty pharmacy.
