Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Project Coordinator – Design & Construction

This role supports complex infrastructure and research projects in active healthcare and laboratory environments. The Project Coordinator works closely with project managers to maintain momentum across multiple concurrent infrastructure and research projects, supporting project execution, coordination, and communication across design, engineering, and construction teams. This position offers exposure to complex infrastructure and research capital projects and opportunities for growth within PD&C project delivery.

Role Overview

  • Support planning, coordination, and administration of multiple facilities and capital projects simultaneously

  • Serve as a central point of coordination for project intake, documentation, and workflow tracking

  • Manage project setup, closeout activities, and ongoing schedule updates to ensure accurate records

  • Coordinate Safe Work Authorization (SWA) submissions and track approvals in alignment with established SOPs

  • Facilitate vendor setup, onboarding, and ongoing maintenance to support procurement and invoicing processes

  • Track Master Agreements, renewals, and amendments to ensure project and legal compliance

  • Maintain project data across internal systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, vendors, and internal collaborators to resolve issues and remove barriers

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by helping standardize processes, workflows, and documentation

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of project coordination, administrative, or operations support experience

  • Experience supporting projects in facilities, construction, healthcare, or complex interdisciplinary environments

  • Demonstrated experience working with project management, procurement, or workflow systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Additional Information:

  • Location: Monday – Friday working hours from 9am through 5pm – 885 Third Avenue, Lipstick Building

  • Schedule: Hybrid – as needed. 3 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)

  • Reports To: Director, Design & Construction
