POINT ONE BUSINESS UK LTD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in New York, NY, United States. We specialise in delivering comprehensive software solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses across various industries. This is a full-time position for a highly organised individual who will be responsible for guiding projects from conception through to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing software development projects and will excel at leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $140,000 USD per annum.

Responsibilities

* Plan, execute, and finalise software projects according to strict deadlines and within the allocated budget.
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
* Coordinate and manage internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
* Track project progress using appropriate tools, identify and mitigate risks, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
* Lead and motivate the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Ensure all project documentation is created, maintained, and properly archived.
* Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Qualifications

* Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the information technology or software development sector.
* A solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
* Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational skills, including meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency with project management software tools, such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
* Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.
* Demonstrable leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
