A well-established outpatient psychology practice in New York providing high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services across the lifespan is seeking to expand its practice to provide more comprehensive services. This role is ideal for a PMHNP who values interdisciplinary care and thoughtful, patient-centered practice.
We are seeking a PMHNP licensed in New York State to join an existing psychology practice as a minority owner, and to collaborate with our psychologists and therapists in providing psychiatric consultations and medication management within a supportive, team-based environment. Any ownership participation, if offered, will be structured in accordance with New York State professional practice requirements and applicable law.
Qualifications
Required:
• Active and unrestricted New York State PMHNP license
• Board certification as PMHNP
• NYS prescriptive authority
• Active DEA registration
• Experience in outpatient behavioral health (referred)
Preferred:
• Strong collaborative communication style
• Comfort working in a psychotherapy-forward setting
• Interest in long-term practice alignment
What You’ll Do:
Director of Psychiatric Services
• Lead the psychiatric service line
• Oversee psychiatric evaluations and medication management services
• Help develop and refine clinical protocols and workflows
• Support quality assurance and best practices
• Help guide the thoughtful growth of psychiatric services
• As the program expands, may provide clinical supervision/oversight of additional psychiatric NPs.

Clinical Care
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations
• Provide medication management and follow-up care
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered treatment
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation
• Follow all NYS licensure and prescribing requirements

Collaboration
• Partner with psychologists and therapists on care planning
• Participate in case consultation as appropriate
