Additional qualifications include strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, crisis management certification, and experience with the NY Justice Center Department.

We’re hiring 2 experienced Nurse Managers to lead a Behavioral Health unit at a hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This is a direct hire / contract-to-hire opportunity with strong leadership impact and growth potential.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Start: ASAP
Compensation: $100/Hr

Duties:

Lead daily operations of a psychiatric unit in collaboration with senior leadership
Oversee patient care, staffing, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives
Ensure adherence to DOH, JCAHO, and OMH regulatory standards
Drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction outcomes
Support staff development and maintain a high-performing clinical team

Must-Have Qualifications

RN license (NY) + Master's of Nursing Degree
5+ years RN experience with 5+ years in psychiatry
2+ years in leadership within a hospital-based psych unit (required)
Experience with NY Justice Center Department
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance & quality improvement
BLS, ACLS, Crisis Management certification
