Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team (full-time or Part-time available)! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least two years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!  Our hygiene rooms may be maintained with softer, dimmed ambient lighting during certain portions of patient care to promote patient comfort and relaxation. 

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
  • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
  • Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories
  • Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
  • Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
  • Teach oral hygiene techniques using office standard protocols
  • Take x-rays, 3D imaging scans
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
  • Current Dental Hygienist licensure
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene preferred
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
  • Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
