Job Title: Registered Nurse (TN Visa Program – US Placement)
Role Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Canadian Registered Nurses for a premier 51-week clinical contract in the United States. This role is specifically designed for nurses looking to expand their clinical horizons under the TN Visa (NAFTA) category. This position offers a rapid transition (4–6 months) into the US healthcare system with a lucrative, tax-optimized compensation model.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your specialty (Med-Surg, Telemetry, HDU, Rehab, or ICU), duties include:
Clinical Excellence: Provide high-quality nursing care, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and monitoring in high-acuity or specialized environments.
Advanced Monitoring: (For ICU/Telemetry) Interpret cardiac rhythms, manage ventilators, and administer titrated vasoactive drips.
Collaborative Care: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, and social workers) to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes.
Documentation: Maintain rigorous electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with US Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards.
Patient Advocacy: Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care protocols.
Requirements
Candidate Criteria (Mandatory)
Citizenship: Must be a Canadian Citizen with a valid Canadian Passport.
Licensure: * Must have passed the NCLEX.
Must hold a valid U.S. State License (or have a Canadian license with a pending endorsement to a U.S. state, such as New York).
Experience: * Minimum 2 years of Canadian nursing experience, OR
International experience plus at least 1 year of Canadian experience.
Language: High level of English fluency. (IELTS required only if the nursing degree was obtained outside of Canada, US, UK, Australia, or NZ).
