The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the leadership team to oversee daily restaurant operations, drive service standards, develop the team, and ensure Queen Maeve consistently delivers a polished and memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily front-of-house operations in a high-volume restaurant and bar
- Take ownership of service standards, guest satisfaction, and hospitality
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members
- Lead pre-shift meetings and ensure consistent communication across the team
- Manage staffing, scheduling, floor plans, and daily deployment
- Maintain strong knowledge and execution of restaurant policies and SOPs
- Monitor labor, sales, guest feedback, and operational performance
- Assist with inventory, ordering, cash handling, and cost controls
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally and effectively
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety, and compliance standards
- Support private events, corporate functions, and high-volume service periods
- Help drive sales, repeat business, and overall restaurant profitability
- Lead by example and foster a positive, professional, accountable team culture
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, or strong FOH leader
- Experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team-development skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- High standards for service, presentation, and professionalism
- Strong understanding of labor management, guest recovery, and restaurant operations
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-focused under pressure
- A hands-on management style and willingness to lead from the floor
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Toast experience strongly preferred
- TripleSeat experience is a plus
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak service periods
- A genuine desire to grow with the business and take on increasing responsibility
Compensation: $80,000 annual salary + bonus incentive Career Growth: Clear path toward General Manager Location: New York City
