Amazon's Global Law Enforcement Engagement (LEE) function within the Security Operations Group (SOG) is seeking a member to execute and deliver against the LEE operating model across assigned markets and workstreams. This is a new role within a newly formed function.

You will contribute to building Amazon's institutional law enforcement relationship capability — populating the LE Partnership Registry, executing engagement playbooks, maintaining relationship records, and supporting the speed-of-response SLAs that underpin LEE's service to field S&LP, Investigations, and Regional Security teams. You will work within developing frameworks and governance structures, applying subject-matter expertise in law enforcement engagement to deliver consistent, compliant, and measurable outcomes.

At this level, you are expected to operate autonomously within defined scope: executing engagement plans, resolving operational friction with law enforcement contacts, maintaining data integrity across the registry, and escalating appropriately when issues exceed your remit. You will use your law enforcement or security background to serve as a credible point of contact for agencies in assigned jurisdictions, support the drafting of playbooks and MoU documentation, and contribute intelligence inputs that strengthen Amazon's proactive security posture.

You will work across multiple jurisdictions with different legal and cultural frameworks, requiring sound judgement, attention to regulatory compliance, and the ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders (Legal, GSOC, Investigations, field S&LP) to deliver outcomes. You are not expected to design the architecture — you are expected to execute it with precision, identify improvement opportunities, and raise the bar on quality and consistency within your assigned scope.

Key job responsibilities
Build and maintain law enforcement relationships at regional and local levels within assigned jurisdictions — recording all contacts, engagement activity, and status updates in the LE Partnership Registry to ensure institutional ownership.
Execute standardised engagement playbooks by jurisdiction and scenario, identifying improvement opportunities.
Operate within the information-sharing authorization-tier matrix, coordinating with Legal to ensure all data exchanges within assigned scope meet GDPR and local regulatory requirements.

Contribute intelligence inputs (threat briefings, advisories, incident data) to internal teams, supporting LEE's shift from reactive to preventative.
Support MoU delivery with priority law enforcement agencies; coordinate and deliver joint training sessions, tabletop exercises, and community engagement events within assigned markets.
Coordinate with internal customers (field S&LP, Investigations, GSOC, R&R, Legal) to resolve operational friction, maintain service accessibility, and support cross-pillar referrals across SOG and partner teams.
Maintain data quality and reporting accuracy across assigned WBR metrics, escalating deviations and identifying process improvement opportunities

About the team
The Law Enforcement Engagement team sits within Amazon's Security Operations Group, building the institutional architecture that connects Amazon's security operations with law enforcement agencies across 30+ international markets to disrupt organised crime targeting global logistics.

We believe relationships built in peacetime pay dividends in crisis. We deploy resources where data shows the greatest exposure, measure ourselves on outcomes — disrupted Mo's, asset recovery, threat disruption — not activity.

This is a team for builders. We are early-stage, high-ambition, and outcome-obsessed. You'll write the playbook, not inherit one. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams
- Experience in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, audit, investigations, law enforcement, risk management, data analytics, inventory control, quality assurance or a related field
- Experience creating and delivering written and oral communications for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working cross-functionally and across regions
- Deep experience with public-private partnerships and information-sharing programmes across multiple jurisdictions Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in relevant field
