Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each day.

Pay Rate: $23.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to verify authorized entry, and communicate with property management and/or first responders when needed.
• Document routine activities, unusual observations, and/or incidents in required reports while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
