Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and maintain a professional presence while interacting with occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
