Senior Account Executive, Sports Investment


Optimum Sports is the dedicated sports marketing agency within OMG. Unlike traditional sports marketing agencies, Optimum Sports operates in both the Sports Sponsorship and Sports Media landscapes. Our approach integrates media, investment, property, and insights to develop strategy, manage negotiation and execution, and evaluate performance of partnerships. Established in 2003, we continue to innovate in the sports marketplace and build solutions for our constantly evolving world. 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to lead the development and implementation of sports-focused sponsorship and media investment. He/she will have marketplace, inter-agency, and client facing responsibilities. Account Executives manage relationships across the sports media marketplaces with the ultimate goal of maximizing partnership value.

Qualifications
Passion for sports is a must; experience working within sports marketing and/or media landscape 
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple lines of communication and prioritize many simultaneous deliverables 
2 years+ in the sports marketing/media industry, with an understanding of TV and Digital media and sponsorship (marketing features, integrations, etc.)
Extremely strong communicator, both written and verbal – in person and on conference calls 
Experience in Mediaocean platforms across media channels
Creative thinker who has the ability to develop unique ideas, solutions, and programs 
Strong background in client services and account management 

Responsibilities
Negotiation, implementation, tracking, and valuation of cross-channel media and partnership activation 
Analyze and negotiate media plans to ensure client receives best possible inventory that aligns with goals and KPIs
Work on multiple projects concurrently, ability to prioritize with proper time management
Works in direct cooperation with respective strategy and marketing teams
Provide overviews and trends of current broadcast rights and consumption across properties 
Maintain budget trackers for internal and client facing reporting
Assist in Ad Hoc planning requests based on client briefs and new opportunities
Maintain client relationships where applicable
Meet with media sales reps and industry representatives on a regular basis to stay up to date on latest opportunities and pursue ideas aligned with client goals
