About Agency Eight

Agency Eight is a creator marketing agency focused on performance seeding, paid partnerships, and affiliate strategy for leading CPG and beauty brands. We operate as an extension of our clients' teams — helping them build community, drive content, and scale creator programs in a measurable way.

We're looking for a strategic, client-obsessed Senior Account Manager to join our growing influencer marketing team. In this role, you'll be the senior lead across a portfolio of high-priority accounts — owning strategy, driving growth, and serving as the person clients trust most. You'll set direction across seeding, paid, and affiliate programs, lead client calls, pitch new business, and make sure your team is executing at a high level. This is a high-visibility role for someone who brings genuine strategic depth, leads from the front, and is energized by both the relationship and the results.

What You'll Do

Gifting Programs

  • Own gifting strategy — setting the approach for each client's seeding program and adjusting based on performance
  • Own internal sourcing approvals — reviewing coordinator-built lists and approving before outreach
  • Approve all materials (outreach copy, creative briefs, etc.) before they go to clients
  • Own goal tracking for gifting programs at the strategic level — monitoring results and identifying when pivots are needed

Paid Campaigns

  • Own paid strategy — building the approach for each client's paid program and presenting recommendations to clients
  • Own internal concept and content approvals for paid campaigns — reviewing recommendations before anything goes to the client
  • Lead all paid outreach to creators, managers, and agents
  • Lead rate negotiations and contracting end-to-end, securing competitive rates, usage rights, and exclusivity terms
  • Manage invoicing across paid partnerships

Client & Account Admin

  • Own all senior client relationships — serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor
  • Lead all client calls — setting the agenda, driving the conversation, and owning the relationship
  • Lead monthly insights reporting — synthesizing performance data into strategic recommendations

Team Leadership

  • Proactively lead your team, keeping a pulse on performance, bandwidth and coaching opportunities
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Account Managers, Coordinators, and interns
  • Set direction, review deliverables, and ensure quality across all work streams
  • Hold the quality bar for everything that goes out on your accounts

Client Growth & Retention

  • Build strong, long-term client relationships grounded in trust and performance
  • Identify opportunities to scale accounts through expanded scope — paid, affiliate, increased volume
  • Drive upsells and renewals across your client portfolio

What Success Looks Like

  • Your clients are retained, growing their investment, and trust you as a strategic partner
  • The work your team produces is consistently high quality and on strategy
  • You're proactively identifying opportunities and problems on client work, internal systems, and team members — not waiting to be asked
  • You lead clients with authority and bring ideas, not just updates
  • You're developing the people on your team and holding a high bar

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6 years of experience in influencer marketing or a related field — agency experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record owning senior client relationships and driving account growth
  • Deep experience across seeding, paid, and affiliate programs
  • Strong strategic instincts — you can build a program from scratch and know when to change course
  • Proven ability to negotiate creator deals — rates, usage rights, exclusivity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing and developing junior team members
  • Comfortable with data and reporting; able to translate results into clear strategic recommendations
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets; experience or willingness to learn with project management tools such as Asana or Notion and tools like Archive and influencer databases

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
